WORK WITH ME

My background and approach:

I have been a psychologist for 15 years, supporting parents and families in both educational settings and private practice. I am also a parent to two children myself, so I understand the joys, challenges and transitions that may be experienced along the parenting journey.

My approach to counselling is based on connection and collaboration. From this base, I seek to understand and explore your concerns, and stories, providing short and long-term therapy tailored to your needs and goals to facilitate self-discovery and growth.

With a warm and down to earth style, I seek to help you engage meaningfully in your relationships and daily life, so you can live in a way that aligns with what matters to you.

I work from an attachment and relational lens, utilising frameworks from advanced training in Circle of Security Parenting, to help you untangle your story and make sense of your thoughts, feelings, ways of relating, and experiences.

In addition to helping you strengthen your reflective capacity, I draw from other psychological interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness and creative techniques.

And as someone who enjoys reading and listening to podcasts, I am always happy to suggest anything to read/listen to/watch that may be of interest to you and your situation. If you’ve been to a Maternal Journal group, you’ll know!
