Circle of Security Parenting Online
Circle of Security Parenting (COSP)
Melbourne and Online
Understand what your child really wants and feel more confident in responding to their needs.
Gain insight into your child’s behaviour.
- As parents we can doubt ourselves and feel lost. There are times when we don’t know what our child might need from us.
- Our babies aren’t born with a manual. Our children don’t always tell us why they are really crying.
Get the foundations that will help build and strengthen your relationship with your child.
- There is a way to make sense of YOUR child’s NEEDS.
- There is a way to feel MORE CONFIDENT in responding to your child’s needs and behaviours.
The Circle of Security Parenting course is based on decades of research about secure parent-child relationships.

An 8-week parenting program.
A small and interactive group course for parents of children aged 0-6 years.
This 8-week program gives you time to reflect, process and consolidate your learnings, with opportunities to ask questions along the way.
Led by Lauren Beatty, Psychologist, Mother of two, Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator and Maternal Journal Facilitator.
Learn concepts that are at the core of ALL human needs. This roadmap gives you a foundation for understanding your children as they grow.
This online parenting course shows you how to:
- Build on your ability to read your child’s needs and understand their emotional world
- Help your child manage and cope with their emotions
- Foster the growth of your child’s self-esteem
- Respond more thoughtfully to your child’s behaviour
- Trust in the relationship you build with your child.
Research on secure attachment indicates that infants and children who form this relationship with their primary caregiver can develop more resilience, better social and problem-solving skills, and higher self-esteem.
This can assist children to maintain positive relationships throughout their lives.
This program is NOT about PERFECT PARENTING. We are all human.
Our children don’t need perfect parents, but learning these concepts can help transform your relationship with yourself and your child.
Why learn from me?
Welcome, I’m Lauren Beatty.
I’ve been a Psychologist for 15 years supporting parents, families and children. I combine my experience in psychology and knowledge of attachment theory to create a safe and supportive space for you to learn, share, and evolve as a parent.
Based in Melbourne, I’m a trained and registered facilitator, and have completed further training, ‘The Human Condition: A Journey Through the Core Sensitivities.’
As a mother of two, I know what it’s like to feel unsure and overwhelmed. I know what it’s like to go searching for answers only to end up even more baffled.
I learnt about COSP first as a parent before becoming a facilitator myself. This relationship-based program gives you the opportunity to learn so much about yourself, your children, and others around you.
In a world where there is so much information about ‘how to’ parent, this program provides the foundation for how to ‘be’ a parent. I’ll help you understand your child’s emotional needs to respond in a thoughtful and meaningful way. I’ll support you to nurture a secure-attachment relationship with your child.
I look forward to sharing it with you,
~ Lauren
